School-Based Learning Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled SEN teacher to join our team at an independent Special Day School in [location]. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and passionate educator to work with students with complex needs and make a real difference in their lives.

Salary: £58,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality teaching and learning within a meaningful and engaging curriculum that stretches and challenges all learners within their class.

  • Develop and implement personalized education plans for students with profound and complex needs
  • Collaborate with the therapeutic team to create child-centered curricula
  • Lead and direct other support staff within the class
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate degree in Education or related field
  • Proven experience of working with students with complex needs, particularly sensory-led learning
