**Job Title:** Learning Support Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support students with a range of needs, including MLD, SLD, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and associated difficulties.

The successful candidate will work closely with our specialist team at an independent Special day school, providing high-quality support to students in their learning, development, and progress across various curriculum areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supportive guidance to students in their educational journey, promoting equality, diversity, and respect for all students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver effective education and support tailored to individual needs.
  • Develop a deeper understanding of Special Education issues and embody the values of our client school.
  • Support students with complex medical conditions and sensory/physical impairments, fostering an inclusive environment that promotes well-being and academic success.
Requirements
  • Able to work towards obtaining formal qualifications and take responsibility for own development (fully funded by the school).
  • Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs, demonstrating enthusiasm for outdoor and community learning.
  • Creative problem-solvers with a solution-focused approach, educated to at least Level 2 Maths and English or equivalent.

Salary Information

Salary: £25.00 per hour - dependent on experience and qualifications.
