Job Title: Early Years Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate teaching assistant to join our accredited specialist team at an independent special day school.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support students in all areas of the curriculum within various learning contexts.
• Help young people with complex needs to achieve their goals and make progress.
• Create an inclusive environment that fosters equality and respect for all students.
• Empower students through support and guidance.
• Develop a deeper understanding of special education issues and values.
• Provide high-quality support in all aspects of the role.

Requirements:
• Able to work towards formal qualifications and take responsibility for development.
• Compassionate and passionate about working with children and young people with additional needs.
• Lover of outdoor and community learning.
• Able to see potential in students rather than disability.
• Creative thinker with a solution-focused approach.
• Educated to at least level 2 (or equivalent) Maths and English.
