About the Role

Hays Health & Safety is partnering with a leading specialist business to recruit a Safety, Health and Environment Manager (SHE Manager) to support their growth and development.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic organisation and contribute to the implementation of a collaborative H&S culture and strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support all aspects of Health and Safety in the business, ensuring compliance with legislation and maintaining high standards.
  • Collaborate with the H&S team to implement the ISO 14001 system and ensure site setup is compliant with H&S regulations.
  • Manage the company health and safety policy, update documentation, and conduct internal audits to maintain a good health and safety culture.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees and site-based project teams on H&S matters and maintain accident frequency rate documentation.
  • Chair regular Health and Safety review meetings with the management team to discuss progress and future legislation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in H&S, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.

You should have experience in onsite Construction H&S and ideally worked in Manufacturing or a specialist sector.
