Job Overview

The UK Business Development Manager for PaymentGenes is tasked with securing new Reseller Partnerships for our company. These Reseller Partners will promote and sell our Payment Services through their sales teams. The role involves identifying and engaging with potential partners, building and nurturing a pipeline of prospective partnerships, and managing the entire sales process from initial qualification to commercial proposals and contract negotiations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and Qualify Prospective Reseller Partner Opportunities
    • Conduct thorough research and analysis to pinpoint potential Direct Partners that align with our company's goals and target market.
  • Build and Maintain a Pipeline of Potential Partners
    • Continuously develop and expand a pipeline of potential partners through proactive engagement and relationship building.
  • Establish Productive, Professional Relationships with Key Decision Makers and Influencers
    • Cultivate strong relationships with key individuals in potential partner businesses, including MDs, CEOs, CTOs, COOs, and senior developers.
  • Present and Negotiate Commercial Agreements
    • Negotiate and finalise commercial agreements in accordance with our company's commercial guidelines and objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in the card payments industry, within a target-driven environment.
  • Proven experience in managing stakeholder relationships at senior levels within partner organizations.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office products.
  • Excellent communication skills; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
  • Demonstrated effective and responsible work ethic.
  • High flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Strong goal-oriented mindset.
  • Confident demeanor with exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to client satisfaction.

Benefits

Base salary of £65k + 30% bonus and good company benefits
