We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Pupil Support Assistant.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the learning and well-being of our pupils, including personal care and behaviour support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing additional support to pupils
  • Assisting with personal and medical care
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

They should be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to the values of East Renfrewshire Council, including creativity, honesty, ambition, respect, responsibility, and trust.

A salary of £22,299 - £25,879 per annum (pro rata for part-time) is available for this post, which is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act.

Applicants must be willing to undergo a Disclosure Scotland check and provide proof of their right to work in the UK.
