The role of the Dean of Student Support is crucial in ensuring that our students receive high-quality support services, including careers advice, counselling, wellbeing, financial and pastoral support, learning support, library support, campus administration, and widening participation.
We are seeking an experienced professional to provide strategic leadership for the enhancement of our student services. This will involve developing and implementing coherent and effective cross-SRUC student services policies and procedures, as well as providing strong and collegial leadership of the Student Services team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for the development and implementation of student services policies and procedures
- Lead the Student Services team to deliver high-quality support services to students
- Work collaboratively with academic departments to ensure seamless delivery of student services
Requirements:
- Proven experience in student services leadership or management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organization
