Lead a High-Performing Planning Team in London

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an exceptional leader to join their award-winning planning team as Head of London Planning. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of London's cityscape through innovative and sustainable planning solutions.

The successful candidate will lead a dynamic team of 8 planners, collaborating with market-leading teams in Project Management, Capital Markets, and Energy & Renewables. They will drive new business opportunities, develop key partnerships, and cultivate strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and inspire a high-performing team of planners, fostering collaboration and excellence.
  2. Drive new business opportunities and develop key partnerships to expand market presence.
  3. Shape and implement strategic plans to grow the planning business in London, aligning with broader goals.
  4. Cultivate strong client relationships, offering expert advice and bespoke planning solutions.
  5. Oversee the planning and delivery of key projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Requirements:
  1. Proven leadership experience in a senior planning role, ideally within consultancy.
  2. Deep knowledge of the London planning landscape and related regulatory frameworks.
  3. Strong track record in business development and client management.
  4. Professional qualifications (RTPI) and a relevant degree in planning or a related field.
