Job Description

Ginghamkids seeks a dedicated and compassionate Weekend Caregiver to provide support and care for a 5-year-old child with complex additional needs.

This role involves engaging in play, supporting the child's personal care, administering medications, and encouraging therapy programs. The ideal candidate should have experience working with children with developmental needs and be able to commit to regular weekend hours (6 hours per day on Saturday and/or Sunday).

The estimated salary for this position is £5,515 - £18 gross per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the child's daily care, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
  • Engaging in play and encouraging the child's development through interactive activities
  • Collaborating with the family to develop a tailored care plan that meets the child's unique needs
  • Providing a safe and nurturing environment for the child and their siblings
