Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Part-Time Nanny to join our team as a supportive caregiver for a child with complex additional needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with the child's family to develop a comprehensive care plan that addresses the child's physical, emotional, and educational needs.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to the child, including assisting with daily living tasks, managing medication, and facilitating therapy programs.

The estimated salary for this position is £35,360 per annum, based on a 40-hour workweek, or £16-£18 gross per hour for weekend work.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support and care to the child, focusing on their physical, emotional, and educational needs
  • Develop and implement a personalized care plan in collaboration with the family and other healthcare professionals
  • Administer medication as required and maintain accurate records
  • Facilitate therapy programs and engage in play-based activities to promote the child's development

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in early childhood education, special education, or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children with complex additional needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
