Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Laboratory Maintenance Administrator to join our team at Immunocore. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing facilities and maintenance support services to our laboratories, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization and its employees.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Lab Services Manager: Assist with the maintenance and renewal of scientific equipment contracts and organize equipment repairs on a daily basis.
- CAFM System Management: Support the Computerized Maintenance Management system by inputting asset number data for all equipment, tracking warranties and service contracts.
- Interface with Scientific Colleagues: Regularly interact with scientific colleagues across different areas and take the lead in discussions as needed.
- Purchase Orders and Invoicing: Raise and issue purchase orders, ensuring Finance is aware of any bills to be paid for equipment or contractors.
- Liaison with Service Engineers: Collaborate with service engineers and the wider Facilities Management team to ensure RAMS, building access, and permits to work are correct and available.
- Laboratory Service Agreements: Input to all lab service agreements, including renewals, cost negotiations, service levels, delivery, and associated relationships.
Essential:
- Experience in Laboratory Maintenance: Demonstratable experience in managing the maintenance of laboratory assets.
- Understanding of Laboratory Assets: Understanding of various asset types in relation to laboratory equipment and facilities management infrastructure assets.
- Task Management: Managed multiple tasks at any one time, such as contractor admin, ensuring all tasks are successfully completed.
- Microsoft Office Skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Desirable:
- Laboratory Categories and Maintenance: Knowledge of laboratory categories, infrastructure, and associated maintenance.
- Biotech/Pharmaceutical Sector Experience: Worked in a support function in the biotech/pharmaceutical sector.
- Computerized Maintenance Management System: Used a Computerized Maintenance Management system such as Amici or Agility.
- Contractor Management: Worked with contractors and raising maintenance contracts.
Education and Qualifications:
- GCSEs or Equivalent: Minimum of GCSEs qualified or equivalent.
- Microsoft Excel: MS Excel.
