Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Coach to join our team at Academics Ltd. This role involves working with children aged 4-16 who have experienced trauma, neglect, challenging behaviour, ADHD, Autism, and developed mental health issues due to their needs.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide additional support to improve the social, emotional, and mental wellbeing of these children. You will work closely with children, developing and implementing plans to improve their overall wellbeing and contributing to the exceptional education and support provided by our SEMH specialist school.

This role is ideal for individuals with career aspirations in behavioural neuroscience, clinical, counselling, developmental, educational, neuropsychology, physiological, school, and social psychology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide individualised support to children with SEN (Special Educational Needs)
  • To develop and implement plans to improve social, emotional, and mental wellbeing
  • To work collaboratively with therapists and other professionals to forward plan
