About the Role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Milton Keynes Community Mental Health HUB. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced Occupational Therapists to provide support to service users and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Occupational Therapists to plan and implement groups and one-to-one sessions to improve service users' everyday activities.
  • Support service users to engage in care plans that reflect their recovery goals.
  • Practice within the Community Mental Health HUB setting with appropriate supervision from a qualified Occupational Therapist.

Person Specification

  • Good general education up to GCSE/A level standard/NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in mental health.
  • Good communication skills, IT literacy, and ability to relate to individuals and groups.
  • Full driving license to use unit vehicle.
