About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As an OTA, you will work closely with experienced Occupational Therapists to provide high-quality care to our service users.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Working with Occupational Therapists to plan and implement groups and one-to-one sessions to improve everyday activities for service users.
  • Providing support and guidance to service users to enable them to achieve their recovery goals.
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with service users, families, and carers.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone with:

  • Good general education up to GCSE/A level standard/NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in mental health.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full driving license and ability to use a unit vehicle.
