About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Milton Keynes. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our Occupational Therapists to provide high-quality care to our service users.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Working with Occupational Therapists to plan and implement groups and one-to-one sessions to improve everyday activities for service users
  • Providing support and guidance to service users to enable them to achieve their recovery goals
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for service users

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in mental health
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full driving license and ability to use a unit vehicle
