About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at Merco Medical Staffing Limited. As a key member of our neurorehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in delivering specialized rehabilitation services to individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with internal teams, families, and external professionals to provide holistic care and support individuals in regaining independence in self-care, work, education, and leisure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver specialist occupational therapy within a neurobehavioral framework, managing a caseload of individuals with complex needs.
  • Use evidence-based, person-centered approaches to assess, plan, and implement interventions to help individuals achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Support the development of rehabilitation support workers and therapy assistants, prioritizing and managing your workload efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy, HCPC Registered.
  • Experience: Familiarity with occupational therapy assessments and interventions, with neurorehabilitation experience desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-working skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals and teams.
