About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with experienced Occupational Therapists to provide high-quality care to our service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Occupational Therapists to plan and implement groups and one-to-one sessions to improve everyday activities for service users.
  • Support service users to engage in care plans that reflect their recovery goals.
  • Practice within the Community Mental Health HUB setting with appropriate supervision from a qualified Occupational Therapist.

Person Specification

  • Good general education up to GCSE/A level standard/NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in mental health.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to relate to individuals and groups.
  • Full driving license to use unit vehicle.
