About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Therapy Assistant to join our team at an acute hospital in Milton Keynes. As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Therapies Team in delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Occupational Therapists in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans for patients.
- Provide support with therapy sessions, including setting up equipment and assisting patients with exercises.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Therapy Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Full HCPC registration and a relevant degree (MSc or BSc) in Occupational Therapy.
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly pay rate of £11 - £13 P/H.
