About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biomedical Scientist to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Biomedical Scientist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality pathology services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take a leading role in achieving daily workload targets and provide technically accurate results.
  • Be professionally accountable for the interpretation of patients' results to enable diagnostic and treatment regimes for clinical colleagues.
  • Provide specialist knowledge and assistance to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients within their area of responsibility.
  • Work with senior staff to support the integration of Immunology into Pathology from a staff, IT, and technological perspective.
  • Participate in the training and development of new, trainee, or support staff.
Requirements
  • HCPC Registered
  • Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD)
  • IBMS accredited Biomedical science degree, registration portfolio, and a specialist portfolio.
