Security Institute Events Coordinator

The Security Institute is seeking a highly motivated and organized Events Coordinator to support our marketing and events activities.
We offer an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills, experience in event organization, and a passion for the security industry to join our team.
This role is ideal for a self-driven individual who can work independently and as part of a high-performing team to ensure the success of our events.
As an Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the setup of stands and displays for events and exhibitions, promoting our events through various marketing channels, engaging with members and potential members, and ensuring that records are maintained accurately.
You will also be required to build positive working relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders, represent the Institute in a professional manner, and adhere to data protection legislation.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, a strong ability to work under pressure, and a positive can-do attitude.
The successful candidate will have some experience of organizing events, good time management skills, and the ability to work on own initiative without supervision.
Competent in using Microsoft Office 365 suite and CRM systems, you will also have the capacity and willingness to travel occasionally throughout the UK, including overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support in the setup of stands and displays for events and exhibitions
- Promote Institute events through various marketing channels
- Engage with members and potential members explaining the work of the Institute
- Maintain accurate records in CRM/SharePoint systems
- Represent the Institute in a professional manner at all times
Benefits:
