The Clinical Coding Department at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is recruiting for a Clinical Coding Admin Assistant to work at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. This full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, requires flexibility in start and finish times.

You will be responsible for collecting and returning case-notes from wards, as well as data inputting outpatient procedure details onto SemaHelix. To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as being well-organized and having a professional, positive attitude.

Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, with 2 qualifications in English and Maths, and ECDL or equivalent IT qualification, you will have experience in hospital patient information systems. A Disclosure and Barring Service Check is required for this post, and we estimate the salary to be around £18,000-£22,000 per annum, depending on experience.
