Community Rehabilitation Officer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and empathetic Rehabilitation Officer Vision Impairment (ROVI) to join our team in Shropshire. As a key member of our sensory services team, you will provide community-based care and support to individuals with visual impairment, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing rehabilitation services, including mobility training, technical assistance, and psychological support;
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive care plans;
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to data analysis to inform service development and improvement;
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy, or social work;
- Proven experience in rehabilitation services, particularly with individuals with visual impairment;
- Strong knowledge of assistive technologies and adaptive techniques;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension scheme, annual leave, and professional development opportunities.
