About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at The Arden Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide a high level of customer service, responding to guest queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner;
  • To work closely with other departments to enhance the guest experience, including answering incoming calls, allocating rooms, and preparing guest bills;
  • To maintain accurate records and ensure that all guest information is up-to-date and secure;
  • To work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines;
  • To maintain a high level of product knowledge, including hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.

Requirements

  • To have a genuine and warm approach, with excellent people skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service;
  • To have strong attention to detail and be IT savvy, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks;
  • To have good communication skills, both written and spoken, and be able to work effectively in a team environment;
  • To be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines;
  • To have a 'can-do' attitude and be willing to go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction.
