Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at The Arden Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and room allocation.
- Process payments, handle guest complaints, and maintain accurate records.
- Work closely with other departments to enhance the guest experience, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the hotel's services, amenities, and local attractions.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Good knowledge of local attractions and services, with the ability to make recommendations to guests.
