Business Development Manager Opportunity

Freight Personnel is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join their well-established Road Freight division. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding the business in the South East of England, focusing on European Groupage and full/part load services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire new business through targeted appointments and follow-up calls.
- Develop and maintain existing client relationships, ensuring the assigned sales portfolio meets set targets and regional goals.
- Identify and pursue potential targets, extending information received from business contacts for possible upgrades or added value.

Main Duties:
- Promote and develop services within a defined region.
- Establish a personal sales agenda, manage pipeline reports, and record sales activity in the company's CRM system.
- Provide customer quotations and tariff management, identifying new business and cross-selling opportunities.

Requirements:
- Strong business development skills and experience in the freight forwarding industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
