Behaviour Support Associate

Milk Education is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to support students with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. This role involves working closely with teachers and SENCO to create an inclusive learning environment. The primary focus is to assist students in managing their behaviour, enabling them to engage in learning and reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to children with behavioural difficulties, helping them manage emotions and interactions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of behaviour management strategies tailored to individual students' needs.
- Collaborate with teachers to ensure a consistent approach to behaviour management in the classroom.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers, parents, and relevant professionals.
About You:
- Experience working with children, especially those with behavioural or emotional challenges, is preferred.
- A good understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies is essential.
- A passion for helping children overcome barriers and achieve their potential is required.
- A relevant qualification, such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or experience in a similar role, is preferred.
