**Position**: Research Behavioural Scientist (KTP Associate)

**Based at**: Nuffield Health, Manchester

**Salary**: Up to £33,000

**The role**:
An exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to work full time on a 2-year Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) to develop new cradle-to-grave capabilities to integrate wearable health technology into health assessment services, creating a paradigm shift in the delivery of preventative health services able to identify and target underlying health issues more effectively for the public good.

Employed and supported by an academic team from the University, you will work in a hybrid model, both from home and at Nuffield's premises in Manchester.

A further formal qualification in a related field, such as Data Science would be beneficial.

**Application requirements**:
**Experience**:

- Designing behavioural interventions for improving modifiable health risk factors, with an emphasis on sleep quality
- Experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods and conducting data analysis using appropriate software packages

Knowledge/Skills:

- Knowledge of sleep assessment methodologies and related health/behaviour interventions
- High-level critical analytic and numeracy skills
- Knowledge of wearable health technology and sensing

- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels (patient groups and clinicians, through to senior managers)
- A commitment to the pursuit of excellence and have leadership potential
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Project management skills and the ability to translate business needs into tangible outputs

For 45 years, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) have been helping to innovate for growth by connecting businesses that have an innovation idea with the expertise to help deliver it. Currently around 800 businesses, 100 knowledge bases and over 800 graduates are involved in KTPs - collaborative, three-way partnerships creating positive impact and driving innovation.
