Project Engineer Opportunity

First Achieve Ltd is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join their team in the Norwich region. As part of their Energy Engineering contractor team, you will be working with clients in the oil and gas, marine, and offshore industries.

This is a permanent position, reporting directly to management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading project delivery, liaising with clients, and coordinating with internal departments.
  • Identifying and mitigating commercial, contractual, design, and schedule risks.
  • Defining and managing project delivery schedules, identifying critical path items, and capturing QA/QC elements.
  • Preparing project user requirements, documentation, and manuals.
  • Overseeing material ordering and procurement processes.
  • Leading project kick-off meetings and design reviews.
  • Presenting project progress reviews to directors.
  • Initiating HAZID and HAZOP meetings.
  • Supporting sales in bid preparation and quotations.
  • Providing technical guidance to operations.
  • Supervising site work, including offshore activities.
  • Assisting in client visits and technical presentations.

Requirements

  • C&G/NVQ qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or HND/HNC in Engineering.
  • 3 years' experience in a relevant role with proven success.
  • Experience in team leadership, client-facing interactions, financial forecasting, and meeting facilitation.
  • Offshore experience and knowledge of Wells, Drilling, Wellhead, and Well Service.
