Project Manager Mechanical Engineer

Halyard Inc. is a leading multidisciplinary engineering company providing exceptional services in site studies, design, procurement, cost control, program management, construction management, and commissioning to the mining and utilities sectors.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mechanical Project Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing mechanical packages while working closely with discipline engineers.
This role requires strong project management skills, relevant engineering judgment, and technical expertise to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects, manage resources effectively, and maintain project governance.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing project scope, cost, and schedule baselines
- Coordinating and controlling project activities
- Ensuring compliance with project policies and procedures
- Securing necessary resources for project execution
- Measuring progress and updating project forecasts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field
- 5-15 years of experience in engineering, plant design, construction, and commissioning
- Professional engineering status in your jurisdiction (an asset)
- PMP/Prince2 registration (an asset)
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to communicate in other languages (a strong asset)
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
