First Achieve Ltd is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join their team in the Norwich region. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with a contractor specializing in Energy Engineering solutions for the oil and gas, marine, and offshore industries.

Job Description:
  1. As the project focal point, you will liaise with clients, nominated third-party bodies, and internal departments, handling both commercial and technical aspects of project delivery.
  2. You will identify risks such as commercial, contractual, design, schedule, and assess their impact on the business, highlighting these issues to senior staff.
  3. Defining and managing project delivery schedules, identifying critical path items, and capturing all QA/QC elements are key responsibilities.
  4. Preparing project user requirements, documentation, and manuals by engaging with customers and taking sales orders to completion against agreed specifications.
  5. You will own ordering materials/services in good time to meet project requirements and raise material enquiries and purchase requisitions.
  6. The Project Engineer will lead 'Project Kick Off' meetings with the design team and instigate or actively participate in Design reviews.
  7. You will be responsible for presenting project progress to Directors.
  8. Instigating HAZID and HAZOP meetings (as necessary).
  9. Supporting Sales in preparing bids and quotations, ensuring technical, operational, and commercial aspects are addressed.
  10. Providing technical guidance to Operations where appropriate.
  11. Supervising site work, including offshore, as required.
  12. Assisting in client visits/technical presentations as needed.
  13. Ensuring all tasks are carried out in line with ISO 9001/14001 guidelines/requirements.

Salary: Up to £40,000
