About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Preston. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and be trained in diagnostic assessments.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a supportive team and contribute to the assessment and intervention of children with ASD. The successful candidate will undertake diagnostic assessments, write reports, and support decision-making as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves working with families, carers, and other professionals to provide high-quality services. You will need to be able to work autonomously, manage your own caseload, and be responsible for a defined area of the service.

Requirements:

  • Qualified/Registered Speech and Language Therapist with 2 or more years of experience.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Experience in working with children and adolescents with ASD.
  • Training in ADOS/ADOS-2 and other diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in report writing and record keeping.
