Bank Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team on a bank basis. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will work with adults across Hull and East Yorkshire, providing therapy in a variety of settings, including community inpatient units, specialist multi-disciplinary stroke services, community clinics, and domiciliary visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality speech and language therapy to adults with a range of conditions, including neurological disorders, voice difficulties, stammering, frailty, and respiratory conditions.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate progress.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of service policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant specialist area or professional qualification to degree level, supplemented by specialist accredited training and experience in the specialist field.
- Postgraduate Dysphagia qualification and/or evidence of competence at the specialist level on the RCSLT Dysphagia competencies.
- Current HCPC professional registration and RCSLT membership.
- Leadership qualification or equivalent experience.
