About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our bank team at City Health Care Partnership CIC. As a bank Speech and Language Therapist, you will be working on a flexible, as-and-when basis to support our adult speech and language therapy services across Hull and East Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to adults with a range of conditions, including neurological disorders, voice difficulties, stammering, frailty, and respiratory conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to our clients.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of speech and language therapy services, including the design and delivery of training programs and workshops.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the evaluation and improvement of our services.
  • Provide leadership and support to junior staff members and contribute to the development of our team.
Requirements
  • Current HCPC professional registration.
  • Current RCSLT membership.
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Postgraduate dysphagia qualifications and/or evidence of competence at the highly specialist level on the RCSLT dysphagia competencies.
  • Educated to Masters Level or Masters level/Post Graduate modules supplemented by specialist accredited training and experience in specialist field(s).
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Completion of training to be a certified LSVT clinician.
  • Advanced/expert clinical qualification.
  • Teaching qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Member of specialist interest group/network, regionally or nationally.
  • Good working knowledge of relevant IT systems to own area of work.
