About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a Bank Specialist. As a Bank Specialist, you will work across Hull and East Yorkshire, providing adult speech and language therapy in various community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to adults with a range of conditions, including neurological disorders, voice difficulties, stammering, frailty, and respiratory conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with senior staff and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and maintain established caseload management processes to support staff and ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Participate in audits and surveys to ensure high-quality clinical practice and standards.
  • Contribute to the development of specialist knowledge and expertise within the team.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant specialist area or professional qualification to degree level, supplemented by specialist accredited training and experience in the specialist field.
  • Postgraduate Dysphagia qualification and/or evidence of competence at the specialist level on the RCSLT Dysphagia competencies.
  • Current HCPC professional registration and RCSLT membership.
  • Leadership qualification or equivalent experience.
