About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our bank team at City Health Care Partnership CIC. As a bank Speech and Language Therapist, you will be working on a flexible, as-needed basis to support our adult speech and language therapy services across Hull and East Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to adults with a range of conditions, including neurological disorders, voice difficulties, stammering, frailty, and respiratory conditions.
  • Work across community settings, including community inpatient units, specialist multi-disciplinary stroke services, community clinics, and domiciliary visits.
  • Collaborate with senior staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of multi-professional and multi-agency partnerships.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education to stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field.
Requirements
  • Current HCPC professional registration.
  • Current RCSLT membership.
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Postgraduate dysphagia qualifications and/or evidence of competence at the highly specialist level on the RCSLT dysphagia competencies.
  • Experience of working in a similar clinical area and ability to demonstrate advanced practice skills.
  • Leadership and management experience, with the ability to demonstrate positive impact and change within service delivery and practice.
