About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in a bank setting. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will work with adults with a range of communication disorders, including neurological disorders, voice difficulties, stammering, frailty, and respiratory conditions.

Main Responsibilities

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating clients with communication disorders. You will work in a variety of settings, including community inpatient units, specialist multi-disciplinary stroke services, community clinics, and domiciliary visits.

Requirements

  • Degree or postgraduate qualification leading to licensure to practice
  • RCSLT membership
  • HCPC registration

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Postgraduate qualification in dysphagia
  • Knowledge of a range of assessment materials
  • Knowledge of NHS initiatives
  • Knowledge of confidentiality/Caldicott/Data Protection legislation
  • Knowledge of RCSLT guidelines
