About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in a bank position. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will work across Hull and East Yorkshire, providing adult speech and language therapy in a variety of community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy to adults with a range of conditions, including neurological disorders, voice difficulties, stammering, frailty, and respiratory conditions.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide ongoing support to clients.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of service policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, and contribute to the evaluation of service effectiveness.
Requirements
- Current HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Current RCSLT membership.
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Postgraduate qualifications in dysphagia and/or evidence of competence at the highly specialist level on the RCSLT dysphagia competencies.
- Experience of working in a community setting, with a focus on adult speech and language therapy.
