Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in a bank setting. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will work with clients with a range of communication disorders, including neurological disorders, voice difficulties, stammering, frailty, and respiratory conditions.

Main Duties

This role would be most suitable for therapists who have completed their Newly Qualified Practitioner framework and wish to work some flexible sessions within our team. You will be supported by senior staff with advanced clinical knowledge in areas of stroke, voice, dysfluency, dysphagia, and aphasia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with clients with a range of communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families
Requirements
  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
  • Experience working with clients with communication disorders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
