About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our bank team in Hull and East Yorkshire. As a bank Speech and Language Therapist, you will work across a variety of community settings, including community inpatient units, specialist multi-disciplinary stroke services, community clinics, and domiciliary visits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide adult speech and language therapy services to clients with a range of conditions, including neurological disorders, voice difficulties, stammering, frailty, and respiratory conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care and support.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of speech and language therapy services and policies.

Requirements

  • Current HCPC professional registration.
  • Current RCSLT membership.
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Postgraduate dysphagia qualifications and/or evidence of competence at the highly specialist level on the RCSLT dysphagia competencies.
  • Advanced/expert clinical qualification.
