About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our bank team at City Health Care Partnership CIC. As a bank Speech and Language Therapist, you will provide high-quality therapy services to adults with a range of conditions, including neurological disorders, voice difficulties, stammering, frailty, and respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to adults in community settings, including community inpatient units, specialist multi-disciplinary stroke services, community clinics, and domiciliary visits.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centered care and support.
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy sessions to individuals with a range of speech and language disorders.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant specialist area or professional qualification to degree level, supplemented by specialist accredited training and experience in the specialist field.
  • Postgraduate Dysphagia qualification and/or evidence of competence at the specialist level on the RCSLT Dysphagia competencies.
  • Current HCPC professional registration and RCSLT membership.
