About the Role

The Marine Services Project Manager is a key position within Boskalis, responsible for overseeing all aspects of marine services projects. This includes personnel management, operational planning, customer interactions, financial management, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as Contract Equipment and Platform Authority (EPA) for RSACT contracts
  • Ensure all operations are carried out safely and efficiently, adhering to Company policies and client requirements
  • Promote a culture of safety and well-being, aligned with the NINA behavioural safety programme
  • Proactively manage employee absence, working closely with HR and Occupational Health
  • Manage project operations within agreed budgets, identifying potential variances and taking corrective action
  • Liaise with clients to ensure contract deliverables are met and customer satisfaction levels are maintained
  • Review and update RSACT Contract Management Plans as required, ensuring associated registers are up-to-date
  • Collect and maintain data to monitor project performance, reporting on a regular basis to the Company and clients
  • Manage Service Delivery Risk and identify opportunities to increase revenue and decrease costs
  • Provide bid writing support for Marine Services tenders
  • Deputise for the Business Sector Manager as required
Requirements

To succeed as a Marine Services Project Manager, you will need:

  • Subject to a UK security check (proof of UK residency)
  • A higher-level academic qualification relevant to the role
  • Relevant experience in marine services contract management
  • Knowledge of contractual and regulatory legislation related to marine services contracts
  • Experience of working within agreed budgets
  • Experience of developing and reviewing management plans/registers
  • Experience of bid writing for marine services contracts
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and motivating project teams to deliver contract objectives
