How You Can Contribute

As the Marine Operations Project Leader, you will report directly to the Business Sector Manager and oversee all facets of marine operations projects. Your responsibilities will encompass personnel oversight, operational planning, client engagement, financial management, safety, health, environment, and quality (SHE-Q), as well as reporting and coordination with centralized support teams. You will also play a key role in securing new contracts by assisting with proposal writing.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Contract Equipment and Platform Authority (EPA) for RSACT.
  • Ensure that all operations are executed safely and effectively, adhering to company protocols and client specifications.
  • Champion the NINA behavioral safety initiative.
  • Proactively manage employee absences with the assistance of HR and Occupational Health.
  • Oversee operations within the established budget and alert stakeholders to any potential budget discrepancies.
  • Maintain communication with clients to guarantee contract obligations are fulfilled and customer satisfaction is upheld.
  • Ensure that the RSACT Contract Management Plans are regularly reviewed and that all related registers are current.
  • Collect and analyze data to assess actual performance against contractual commitments, providing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the company and clients as necessary.
  • Manage risks associated with service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance revenue and reduce costs.
  • Assist in writing proposals for Marine Services tenders.
  • Act as a deputy for the Business Sector Manager when required.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • A higher-level academic qualification relevant to the position.
  • Experience in managing marine services contracts.
  • Familiarity with contractual and regulatory frameworks governing marine services.
  • Proven track record of adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Experience in developing and evaluating management plans and registers.
  • Background in proposal writing for marine services contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a project team to meet contract deliverables promptly.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain security clearance.
