Position Overview:
The Marine Operations Project Leader is tasked with overseeing the comprehensive execution of marine operations projects. This role encompasses various responsibilities including team management, operational planning, client engagement, financial oversight, safety, health, environment, and quality (SHE-Q) compliance, as well as reporting and coordination with centralized support teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Contract Equipment and Platform Authority for RSACT.
- Ensure that all operations are conducted safely and effectively, adhering to company protocols and client specifications.
- Champion the NINA behavioral safety initiative.
- Proactively manage employee absences in collaboration with HR and Occupational Health.
- Oversee project operations within the established budget and identify potential budget variances.
- Maintain communication with clients to guarantee contract obligations are fulfilled and customer satisfaction is prioritized.
- Ensure that the RSACT Contract Management Plans are regularly reviewed and that all related documentation is current.
- Collect and analyze data to assess actual performance against contractual commitments, providing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the company and clients as necessary.
- Manage risks associated with service delivery.
- Identify opportunities to enhance revenue and reduce costs.
- Assist in the preparation of bids for marine services contracts.
- Act as a deputy for the Business Sector Manager when required.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Advanced academic qualifications relevant to the position.
- Experience in managing marine services contracts.
- Familiarity with contractual and regulatory frameworks governing marine services.
- Proven track record of adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Experience in developing and evaluating management plans and registers.
- Background in bid preparation for marine services contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a project team to meet contractual deadlines.
- Must possess or be eligible to obtain security clearance.
