Head of Sales and Revenue Generation

COREcruitment is looking for an exceptional Sales Director to join our team at a Luxury Lifestyle Hotel in the Mediterranean Region.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and marketing, with a strong understanding of the luxury hotel market.
**Job Summary**
The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy, driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
This includes building and managing a high-performing sales team, establishing relationships with key industry partners, and creating sales collateral.
**Key Responsibilities Include:**
- Developing a pre-opening sales and marketing plan to generate buzz and secure bookings
- Building and managing a sales team, recruiting and training top talent
- Establishing relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and corporate accounts
- Creating sales collateral, including rate sheets, proposals, and presentations
**Post-Opening Responsibilities:**
- Leading the development and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans
- Developing and implementing strategies to generate revenues for the hotel
- Promoting hotel visibility through industry associations, trade shows, and national/international activities
- Managing and developing the sales team by recruitment, development, and training
- Identifying emerging markets and staying aware of new products and competition status
- Designing and seizing advertising and public relations opportunities
- Effectively managing budgets to ensure optimum operating profit
- Reporting, communicating, and presenting management information and KPI statistics to director and board level
- Leading and supporting the growth of a small team on property
**Requirements**
- Successful track record as a Director of Sales/Director of Sales and Marketing consistently meeting/exceeding targets within hotels
- Good experience and understanding of the luxury/lifestyle hotel & resort market
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- A driven and dedicated commitment to success without sacrificing integrity
- Strong computer skills (with understanding of digital and social media tools)
- Experience in creating local, international, and global strategy
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
- Fluent English and another European Language
**Estimated Salary:** €95,000 - €115,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
