COREcruitment is looking for an exceptional Sales Director to join our team at a Luxury Lifestyle Hotel in the Mediterranean Region.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and marketing, with a strong understanding of the luxury hotel market.

**Job Summary**

The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy, driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.

This includes building and managing a high-performing sales team, establishing relationships with key industry partners, and creating sales collateral.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

  • Developing a pre-opening sales and marketing plan to generate buzz and secure bookings
  • Building and managing a sales team, recruiting and training top talent
  • Establishing relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and corporate accounts
  • Creating sales collateral, including rate sheets, proposals, and presentations

**Post-Opening Responsibilities:**

  • Leading the development and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans
  • Developing and implementing strategies to generate revenues for the hotel
  • Promoting hotel visibility through industry associations, trade shows, and national/international activities
  • Managing and developing the sales team by recruitment, development, and training
  • Identifying emerging markets and staying aware of new products and competition status
  • Designing and seizing advertising and public relations opportunities
  • Effectively managing budgets to ensure optimum operating profit
  • Reporting, communicating, and presenting management information and KPI statistics to director and board level
  • Leading and supporting the growth of a small team on property

**Requirements**

  • Successful track record as a Director of Sales/Director of Sales and Marketing consistently meeting/exceeding targets within hotels
  • Good experience and understanding of the luxury/lifestyle hotel & resort market
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • A driven and dedicated commitment to success without sacrificing integrity
  • Strong computer skills (with understanding of digital and social media tools)
  • Experience in creating local, international, and global strategy
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
  • Fluent English and another European Language

**Estimated Salary:** €95,000 - €115,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
