Human Factors Principal Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Human Factors Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology.
About the RoleThis role will involve assessing risks of human error, performing task analysis, and providing Human Factors advice. You will also be working with process authors to improve procedures and reduce the risk of unintended outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Human Factors or Psychology, demonstrable Human Factors experience, and previous experience of stakeholder management. Chartered Ergonomist status with CIEHF is desirable but not essential.
What We OfferAs a member of our team, you will receive a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and a company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
You will be part of a dynamic team working across all three submarine programmes at BAE Systems. Our team provides safety-oriented support to the day-to-day business of designing, building, and operating submarines.
