Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Principal Systems Engineering Director to join our team at BAE Systems in Warton, Preston. As a key member of the engineering governance team, you will be responsible for creating and developing parts of the engineering operating framework and governance system.

Your primary objective will be to act as one of the focal points for engineering governance between the joint business entity and the UK industry Lead Systems Integrator. You will work closely with the COO Central Engineering Governance team to share best practice and activity support.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join the Global Combat Air Programme/Future Combat Air System Acquisition Programme and contribute to the creation, development, and deployment of parts of the Engineering Operating Framework and Governance System.
