Senior Human Factors Specialist Role

BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Human Factors Specialist to join our team. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for providing Human Factors advice to our designers and engineers.

Your duties will include assessing risks of human error, performing task analysis, and working with process authors to improve procedures. You will also be representing Human Factors at design technical reviews and conducting design substantiation reviews.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Human Factors, with a degree in Human Factors or Psychology, and demonstrable experience in stakeholder management. Previous experience in coaching and mentoring others is also essential.

As a member of our team, you will be working across all three submarine programmes at BAE Systems. Our team provides safety-oriented support to the day-to-day business of designing, building, and operating submarines.
