About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Hawley Woods School, working closely with students who require support with communication needs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of young people with diverse needs.

Job Description

This role involves providing therapy services to children and young people with complex needs associated with Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You will work flexibly across two schools, managing your own caseload and collaborating with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students with SLCN and ASD
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to promote communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement therapy goals
Requirements:
  • degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualification
  • UK HCPC Registration and membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
  • experience working with children with SLCN and ASD

We offer a competitive salary estimated at £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and networking within our multi-disciplinary team.
