About the Role:

The FamGuard Group of Companies is seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the fulfillment of legal regulations and guidelines on Health & Safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement annual plans for preventative actions in relation to safety at work and work health.
  • Conduct risk assessments, improvement actions, and corrective/predictive actions to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Plan and manage Health and Safety training programs for employees.
  • Coordinate the handing out and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance with safety requirements for emergency plans, fire drills, access control, and signage.
  • Deal with non-conformities and coordinate the analysis of their causes with relevant areas, carrying out corrective, preventative, and improvement actions.
  • Ensure compliance with current legislation, including waste waters, emissions, residues, and relationships with local authorities.
  • Manage company waste waters and residues, including control and direction of the water treatment plant.
  • Monitor incidents and manage non-conformities, including opening and monitoring the execution of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage customer returns, provide a response, and an action plan to resolve them.
  • Analysis and processing of data for improvement actions and coordination and training of improvement groups.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support the carrying out of internal and external audits.

Requirements:

  • Technical Industrial Engineering qualification.
  • Professional Experience: 2-3 years in similar tasks.
  • Experience in carrying out audits.
  • Membership of NEBOSH.
  • Specific training in Quality Systems (ISO 9001:2015, BRC) and Health & Safety Environment regulations and Ecovides.
