Job Summary
Hunter Mason Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of our Health and Safety Policy across all business and project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site visits to support managers with health and safety issues, compile risk assessments, and ensure subcontractors meet safety standards.
- Advise on health and safety legislation, identify training needs, and implement systems for accident and risk management.
- Lead or assist in health and safety support on larger projects, attending pre-start meetings, and maintaining accurate safety records.
- Conduct unannounced site visits, spot checks, and regular site inspections, reporting findings to directors.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Health and Safety Management in the Construction Sector, preferably within Partitions / Internals / Fit Out.
- NEBOSH Qualified is essential.
- First Aid is essential.
- CSCS Black Card is desirable.
- CDM (Construction Design & Management Regulations) Knowledge & Experience.
- Willingness to travel to sites.
- Exceptional written and spoken English skills.
- Self-motivated personality.
- Attention to detail with a right-first-time attitude.
- Organisation and time management skills.
